Simple image gallery (1 Viewer)

Hello Lua community,

I am new to the Lua programming language.
For a small industrial computer (Teltonika RUT955) I am looking for a simple web application that lists the images in a directory and displays them as an HTML page in an image gallery.
Since Lua is installed on the system, it would be a nice introduction to programming with Lua.
Is there already something similar? Or where is the best place to start looking?

Sounds like an interesting project! It definitely makes it easier that RutOS is a Linux-based operating system.

Personally, I would start by downloading the RUT955 SDK (link) and look at existing RUT955 Lua scripts to see if I can find existing functionality to fill my needs.
